First, precautions

3. When dissolving, the high purity polyacrylamide should be added to the stirring water phase slowly and evenly. The stirring speed should not be strong (the speed of the front end of the stirring blade should be controlled below 8m/ s), so as not to reduce the cutting force of polyacrylamide; If the feed is too fast, it will also form a clump, creating a fisheye. 4. The water temperature should not exceed 60°C.

Two, understand the source of sludge
Sludge is the inevitable result of sewage treatment. First, we should understand the source, properties, composition and solid content of the sludge. In general, cationic polyacrylamide is used to treat organic sludge and anionic polyacrylamide is used to treat inorganic sludge. Cationic polyacrylamide is not easy to use when the base is strong, anionic polyacrylamide should not be used when the acid is strong. When the solid content of sludge is high, the amount of polyacrylamide is usually larger.
